The boy was sitting on his bed, sorting through his glass marble collection. He decided not to leave his room today. The other students here were grinding on his nerves. He had been trying to find ones worthy of what he was planning...though only recruiting one person so far.
Olivia, the girl he had fought the other day, she had proven herself. No one else had even touched upon proving themselves. How frustrating. He wasn't going to able to pull this off if he didn't have a small army behind him.

Ian moved down the hall, pulling a rolling bag behind him and wearing another on his back. He already knew which room he was looking for - he had even taken a look inside. He had no idea what the marbles were about, but he could always ask. Make conversation with the guy. Roommates did that, he assumed. If they didn't, screw it. He blinked, and got another image of the room's interior flitting past his vision. Hopefully the beds were as comfy as they looked.
He reached the door and knocked, standing in place by the door and waiting patiently for the reply. And, of course, closing his eyes behind his shades to see the knock's reaction from inside. Force of habit.

"Hrmm." Kayne looked up from his bed as he heard a knock at his door. Who was trying to bother him now? Ugh. The people here were the worst. "Hold on." He called as he pulled himself up from the bed. Kayne made his way to the door and opened it. "Can I help you?"
Who was this guy? Wearing sunglasses inside? Strange. Kayne looked back to his bed and flicked his wrist, a marble levitating over to Kayne. "What do you want?"

"We're roomies." Ian replied in a slightly tired tone, his eyes still closed, now following the levitating marble apparently controlled by the boy. That was neat. Odd thing to bring to the door, though, regardless of its purpose. Whatever, as long as he wasn't waving those things around at all hours of the night.
"Ian." He offered his hand somewhat mechanically, not looking exactly where it went, and generally giving the appearance of someone staring off into space. "Love the marbles."

"Roomies?" He asked with a very annoyed tone. Great, he was hoping he would be able to stay here without the constant annoyance of another sharing his room. Kayne looked down at the hand and turned his back on the other and walked back to his bed, the marble following him. "Kayne, don't bother me and I won't make one of these explode in your face." He said with a bit of a smirk as he snapped his fingers. The marble seemingly exploded into thousands of tiny shards of glass, hovering in the air for a moment before reforming into the marble again. "Got it?"

Ian paid only mild attention to the exploding orb, mainly concerned with getting to his bed. It was a neat trick, and probably pretty dangerous, but the guy said so himself - no need to bother him. "Sure, man. Sounds great. Fair policy." With each sentence, he threw a bag on the ground by the side of his bed, and then proceeded to throw himself face-first onto the mattress. O cushy space of napping, never leave me again.
It was a 9/10 bed, from his limited personal experience. The company even seemed to be the quiet sort. All it needed was a good book, and he was set... he'd get that tomorrow. Right now he'd just... continue to not bother that guy. Assuming he hadn't done something annoying already.
