``Dress style;; Most of the time, she dresses very simply, shirt, sweater (if the weather permits it), jeans and boots. Olivia doesn’t put too much thought into her style – besides making sure not to wear dresses or skirts unless it’s a super special occasion. She doesn’t like to dress in heels; open footwear is also something new to her and she’s getting used to it. Olivia tends to avoid the colors yellow and green, though it’s fair to say she has a few pieces of clothing in those colors that she wouldn’t wear too often.
``Overall;; Olivia comes across as a normal, introverted individual. The way she dresses does not imply confidence or anything out of the ordinary. She’s just there, not really trying to make herself known. She walks with confidence and keeps a sharp eye – being in a guerilla army for 5 years has taught her to be alert and diligent. She is well trained in martial arts and is more than capable of handling almost all kinds of artillery.

``Personality;;
Emotionally Detached: Olivia doesn’t like displaying emotion or getting attached to anything. She’ll laugh and smile along with others, but really, the only emotion she allows herself to feel is anger – not even hurt or sadness, that’s weakness. She can understand emotion, but doesn't feel it.
Analytical: What’s best and what’s not good. She’ll attempt to take the path that gets her the most benefit. If she has to act, fine; as long as she reaches her goal in the shortest time possible.
Risk Taker: Olivia isn’t afraid of getting into fights or quarrels – whether or not she thinks she can handle it. She just wants to rise to the top and learn how to deal with as many people as she can and use the knowledge for protection.
Loner: Being alone is no problem. She knows how to function in solitude and fend for herself. It’s a world where every man is for himself only – that’s the world she knows. While Olivia can adapt to group situations, she prefers to be alone in the company of few others.
Regretful: She doesn’t want to hurt. Olivia knows how many lives she’s taken in Colombia; she doesn’t want this number to increase any more. She does not regret joining the rebels; she just prefers not to have killed so many people.

``History;; Olivia grew up in a small village in the rural areas of the Andes mountain range. She was the second eldest to be born to Raul and Maria Sanchez. Her only older sibling, José, was five years older than herself and went to school most of the time; she didn’t get to see him a lot. Olivia herself was sent to school, but never excelled. Since she had to help her mother at home, she rarely was able to complete homework and as such was given harsh punishments. She still went to school though, knowing the need for education and hoping that one day she would do as well as her brother and be sent off to secondary school.
Unfortunately for her, that didn’t happen. Instead, the punishments got worse and time got shorter and shorter on hand until she eventually gave up school at nine bitterly for her family. For a year, it was all work – taking care of siblings, laundry, cooking and if she was lucky, a few minutes of play here and there. José was never there; their parents had used all their money to send him to a boarding school, leaving them all poorer than dirt.
Luckily for Olivia, this life wouldn’t last long. At the age of ten, she was kidnapped by a rebel group and forced to join their ranks. At first she hated it, but then saw that they did treat her better than her family did, despite the harsh rules and regulations and the constant peril. She actually found that she liked the life, learning skills like espionage and collaboration and how to read, being allowed to smoke her worries away and actually fit in. Although she was eleven, she was respected as a member of the rebel group, taught their philosophies and beliefs. Olivia didn’t mind this lifestyle – until she saw the cruel punishments; girls killed for falling off a practice bar, for not swallowing cyanide when they were caught on espionage missions and sometimes just because they failed to please.
After those experiences, Olivia shut herself up. She resolved to be the best; she didn’t make friends, she just acted like a friend. She learned to deal with weapons, learning everything about war, tactics and communication. Olivia played her way through the ranks, earning herself a good reputation, completing all missions assigned to her. After seeing the examples set for her by older girls, she learned to suppress rebellious nature, taking all punishment quietly and learning how to cook, how to be efficient at packing and one of the most valued members of the team.
It wasn’t until she was fourteen that her powers developed. It was on a sabotage mission where she and a team were asked to blow up a government base. The team had been found out at the last moment and they were surrounded. Her teammates had taken their cyanide, though she refused to. She knew that they were being watched, but she couldn’t help it. Instinctively, she focused on their bomb, feeling a concentration of energy and then blinking. All of a sudden, the building exploded and while they were distracted, Olivia escaped.
Instead of being persecuted for not taking the cyanide, Olivia was celebrated at the camp for saving the mission. She was then trained with her gift, treasured as a weapon but not spoiled. Sure she got her makeup and her cigarettes but she still had to deal with the 4 hour running punishment if she made a mistake. Olivia wasn’t killed when she made mistakes, but she had less sleep allocated to her because of extra training needed to hone her powers.
Somehow, other militants got wind of her power and suddenly their group was targeted a lot more because of Olivia’s worth. They endured a year of being constantly tracked by numerous groups. In the end, despite her worth, the rebel group abandoned her and left her to fend for herself. It was just then that she was picked up by a rescue team liberating child soldiers. She was whisked to America, suddenly given a whole new environment to adjust to. Fueled with emotions of betrayal, she swore not to trust again and almost ended up exploding the whole building.
She and the other girls who had been lucky enough to be found were put through a rehabilitation program. While she wasn’t entirely happy about putting her knowledge about guerilla tactics and guns aside, she abided by the program. Due to the display of unusual power, the rehabilitation center decided to send her to Stone Brook Academy as another part of rehabilitation and education. She joined in her sophomore year.
``Powers/Abilities/Gifts;; Explosions: Olivia is able to make explosions by causing particles in an object/space within sight to vibrate violently. With a trigger, she can release the energy and thereby cause explosions. This ‘trigger’ usually takes the form of a snap, though it can be as subtle as a blink or as dramatic as a stomp of her foot.
The power of these explosions without explosive material is in proportion to the time that she stares at the object. If eye contact is broken before she can trigger the explosion, the energy is dissipated. Since she’s practiced this, even if she can see the object out of the corner of her eye, she’s able to detonate it, though the explosion probably won’t do much damage. At the moment, she’s best at detonating metal and creating as much shrapnel as possible since it was what she was trained to do. Olivia is working on simply condensing and causing explosions out of thin air.
``Role Play Sample;; It was not yet light outside but Olivia was already up. The clock read 4 AM but she didn’t mind – she was used to getting up earlier than this for special training. Then again, that was more than a year ago. She still hadn’t broken out of the habit though. A glance outside the window told her that it was cold; the slightest bit of breeze was teasing the grass but nothing major – no frost.
She ran her fingers through her short hair, not bothering to put on eyeliner. Olivia had long since learned that next to no one was up at this hour. She usually showered after exercising anyways, completely defeating the point of putting on eyeliner. Pulling on a pair of pants and a tank-top, Olivia slipped outside into the cold, refreshing air. It was nice here – not as difficult to breathe as it was in the mountains. After a few moments of stretching, she started jogging to the soccer field. That was the best place to run for a long time.
