A devilish smirk crossed the boy's mouth. "It's been a while." Kayne DeRemiro was back at his old stomping grounds. The boy straightened his tie and tugged on his blazer. "I've missed you oh so much." The boy reached into his pocket and pulled out a small glass sphere and rolled it along his fingers. "Time for some fun."
This place had abandoned him, the people just threw him away and he had come to get his revenge on them. "They'll all pay for what they did to me." Sure, Kayne had never been the most sane person, but something had most certainly snapped. Now, he just wanted to cause destruction to the place that turned it's back on him and anyone who got in his way was just a causality of war.
"It's time." He said standing outside the school, staring at all the windows. "Time for what they deserve." He clenched his teeth together as he focused his power on the glass. One by one they exploded, sending shards everywhere. A deep laugh came from the boy. "I'm baaaaaack!"

Signal was sitting in the class nearest to Kayne when the windows shattered. Now that was one way to get his attention. He stood up, staring down at the dark boy and shook his head. This was one situation he did not want a repeat of. He stepped to the door, ignoring the teacher, and ran outside stopping in front of him.
"You could have hurt someone you psychopath!"
He crossed his arms, glaring at him with his violet eyes.
"We went down this road before, remember? Just walk away."

"What's wrong?" Kayne asked Sig, tilting his head a bit. "Scared of the "psychopath?" A toothy grin formed. "You should be. I'm going to end this place and everyone in it. Dead, everyone. Can't you see it now!?" He screamed. "Glorious retribution for the way I was wronged!" Evil laughter poured from the twisted boy.
"So, you have two choices. Die now or run away and delay the inevitable. Up to you." He said as the shattered glass around Signal started to levitate. "You've got five seconds to decide. One." Kayne lifted his arms from his sides, he could feel every shard of glass and it's longing to rip through Sig. "Two. Three. Four." Time was ticking down. Would this boy be his first victim? "Five."

Signal's eyes bore into Kayne's a rather intimidating glare.
Dead? Kill them all?
Liza was in there. Blake was too. Kimber as well.
Just as the boy said five, Signal slammed himself on the ground, rolled over and leaped forward, throwing as hard a punch as he could muster at Kayne. There was no way he'd leave now. Not when everyone is in danger.

Good. The other wasn't just going to lay down and die. He would put up a fight, much more fun when you could play with your food before you devour it. He watched the punch coming and didn't budge. No, he would take it. Sig's fist landed straight across Kayne's jaw, knocking him down to the ground.
Another laugh, deeper than the first. "Poor little Signal doesn't want his friends to die? He's going to save them all, how brave. Too bad that's not how your hero tale is going to end. You'll fight valiantly but you will die...just like everyone else." Kayne lifted himself from the ground. His hand came to his mouth, wiping away the blood. First blood was his, but Signals would be spilt all over the ground. "You had your chance."
Kayne's eyes grew wide as he sent glass flying at Signal. "Dodge it." He muttered under his breath. He was just playing around with this miserable little maggot. What seemed like a roar came from the boy as he ran at the other. Glass flew through the air and coated itself around Kayne's hand. Before it made contact Kayne smiled again, this was more fun than he thought it would be.

Signal smirked at the connection, hoping it would knock the kid out. Nope. Jaw shot... and the kid had a metal jaw. Great.
He twisted away from the punch, gaining a slight bit of distance. Mistake. Randall would have beaten his ass if he saw that mistake...
Signal barely managed to spark his eyes when the glass headed his way. Dodging was a specialty of his, but with the glass heading at this speed.... Signal's body just wasn't superhuman.
He was able to dodge a good portion of them, but in the end he walked away with a couple protruding pieces he ripped out quickly, running forward and throwing the piece at him as a distraction and then sliding under to give a swift kick at the knees.
Sig could feel something from this fight already... Dread.

Kayne smirked as the glass hit the guy. It soon faded as a shard was headed directly at him, he quickly stopped it in midair but completely missed the kick to the knee. A grunt escaped his lips. "How annoying." He said, picking himself back off the ground.
The boy focused his energy, molding the glass around him into what looked like a sword and shield. "I've got some new tricks." He said with a toothy grin. The shield seemingly attached itself it to Kayne's arm, the sword landing in his hand.

"Hey Sig... Looks like you could use some help..." A dark headed boy came walking out, bright golden eyes to contrast the violet.
"looks like he's not playing fair... Here." He tossed something wrapped in cloth to Sig.
When he unwrapped it a rather nice dagger gleamed in the sun. "Ohhh yes. Just like old times Kayne?"
Rem crossed his arms. "Give em hell."
Signal took a new fighting stance, now holding his dagger, the golden eyed boy standing behind him.

Kayne glared at the new arrival. He was nothing, just another casualty waiting to happen. Kayne started walking to the side, working on circling Signal. "Come on, show me what you got." He said putting the makeshift shield in front of him. "Your move."

Signal shook his head. "You can leave Kayne." He'd learned the boy's name after he left. "It's in your hands. No one has to get hurt. You can turn around and leave... I won't chase you. Just go."
Rem scoffed from behind. "Shut up Signal. You've taken down way bigger guys before... Move." He stood up, rolled his sleeves up, showing two contraptions on his arms. With a click, two rather lethal blades sprung forward, Rem stepping toward the other.
Signal couldn't take blood on his blades, Rem could.

"Another challenge." Kayne said with boredom in his voice. "How bothersome." Why couldn't they lie down and die like good little victims? This would be quick, he was getting rather tired of all this nonsense.
He ran at the other, seemingly to attack him with the sword. It wasn't until the last second that the sword and shield shattered, sending hundreds of shards of razor sharp glass at Rem. He raised his brow at the outcome.

Rem wasn't just some lightweight fighter. He'd fought swords and shields his whole entire life. He slashed at the shield, ready to place the other blade through his forehead... If only it was a normal shield.
Signal saw what would happen a moment before Rem could.
The boy fell to the ground, impaled a hundred times. Signal stared at him, the blood pooling underneath the black plastered hair. "Oh my God.... You killed Remsey.... You.... Bastard..."
He took a step forward. "That's it."
His voice was different. "You've gone on far enough."

A sick, twisted grin was on Kayne's face. "How lovely, smell that? That's the smell of your friends freshly drawn blood." He said as the glass retracted out of Rem, coated with blood of the other. It formed back into its original form. The gripped the sword, grinning at Signal. "You gunna cry about it?"

"No. I'm going to kill you for it." He ran forward, making a twisting motion and hitting the ground, newly slicked with Rem's blood, he slid his way toward Kayne, slashing at his legs.
